Rob is an Emmy award-winning cinematographer. He’s known for operating a camera and telling stories in conditions where other camera operators struggle at best. He feels at home sleeping in a tent, hanging from a cliff, filming self-supported 100+ mile expeditions, on foot, in the Arctic in minus 60 degrees. Rob also snow-machined over 1000 miles across the state of Alaska, wile filming the famous Iditarod sled dog race.

Rob was a professional mountain guide for over 2 decades. He’s an accomplished mountain athlete… he’s run 100+ mile mountain-ultra-marathons, he’s a competitive cyclist, trail-runner, skier, paraglider, FAA certified drone pilot, medic, rigger, bear safety, and remote logistics expert.  He is un-phased by doing his own audio, drone, b-roll, story producing, rigging, and safety… Rob has travelled all over the world and is a huge asset on any production.

Because of his background as a mountain guide and medic, Rob is one of very few camera operators capable and qualified to operate, on his own, in remote and technical terrain without the need of a safety guide.

Rob has been in the film industry for decades. He has worked with the best of the best in every aspect of film making. Rob can crew-up a project on every single level of production from inception to delivery!
